Afternoon Tea with the Girls
We always enjoy an afternoon tea and the Hythe Imperial Hotel is a great place to go. We had several relaxing hours in the pool, sauna and jacuzzi, followed by afternoon tea, and a windy walk through the town and back along the beach.
For Sonali Mishra, from India, it was her first experience of a British afternoon tea. She said, "I will remember this marvellous day forever."

On a personal note ...
3 days, 716 miles!!
After unloading the car at Amira's new home in Bangor, we took a walk in to the town, had something to eat and then went to explore. Here is the back of the main university building.
We found a circle of standing stones, which upon investigation are really not so old, but we'd walked a long way so I needed a wee lay down.
I sure that Amira will soon tire of all the green space, the trees, the water ... she'll be begging to come back to Medway (just kidding).
On Sunday morning, after a cuppa, I drove from Bangor to Tewkesbury to visit family. Enjoyed a lovely afternoon/evening with Tony (my brother) and Sarah (sis-in-law). Staying over the night with my dad.
On Monday, we went to Pershore to visit my nephew, James, and his family. Finally getting to see my new great nephew, Reuben, for the first time ... and catching up with big brother Jonah :-)
