Oxford trip
On Saturday, January 21st at just after 8am, 69 of us set off from the Medway Campus, for Oxford by coach. This was a partnership between Chaplaincy and Global Greenwich.
It was cold in Medway and only got colder and foggier the further north-west we travelled 😲😲😲 In Oxford we met up with two more coach-loads of students from the Greenwich and Avery Hill campuses.
Many thanks to all those who have sent photos for our blog. Written feedback would also be much appreciated.

Many students explored the Ashmolean Museum which is well worth a visit, and provided a bit of warm respite to the weather.
My colleague, Kirsten, and I went to visit the Story Museum, which we'd never been to before. We were the only adults there without little children in tow, but we still joined in all of the activities.
I attempt to pull the sword from the stone to see if
I'm of Royal blood (the answer was NO!);
whilst Kirsten explores the beautiful land of Narnia,
from The Lion, The Witch & The Wardrobe.

Celebrating Lunar New Year
Anita, Himanshu and John were the winners of our quiz ... well done!!! An, from Vietnam, won the Chopstick Challenge.
In addition to these activities, we also enjoyed a little taster of Chinese food. Many thanks to Jon and Barbara for all their help.

New Year Hopes and Dreams
At the very start of December our Hopes & Dreams tree outside Chaplaincy office was bear, but throughout the month 170 students wrote some of their hopes and helped our tree to take form.
