Lunar New Year

Lunar New Year is always a fun time, whether we're celebrating at TABLEtalk or the World Cafe.
As always we enjoyed some wonderful Chinese food, provided by Youn's restaurant in Chatham, and there was a lot of interest in our chopstick challenge

Well done Gaelle for your excellent time of 1:23:25  ...  that's one minute, not one hour!!

Bring and Share Lunch

This is one of my favourite things  ...  not only do I love welcoming people into my home (as messy as it often is) but the array of new, scrumptious food is always marvellous!!
So, abundant thanks for all those students and friends who joined me last Sunday.

On a personal note ...

THANK YOU Stuart & Hazel, Luke, Evan & Caitlin, Jack & Mary, Derek & Alison for a fabulous weekend away ... or maybe I should say marvellous!!!
Derek, hope you enjoyed your birthday celebrations

On Friday evening we had sooooooooooooo much fun playing a must-buy game called Caption It.  The idea is unbelievable simply as it involves choosing your best caption to match a given picture.

Our weekend included learning to crochet, enjoying Stuart and his ukelele. As well as lots of eating, drinking and laughing.

Northern Ireland is a beautiful country and we spent half the weekend just relaxing and looking out at the sea.
The view below is what I woke up to each morning!!

Gratitude

At our World Cafe last week we took time to think about the things in our lives that we are truly thankful for.  Thank you to all the students and staff who took part and helped make the Cafe so colourful with all their comments.
