Many of you know that I produce inspirational bookmarks to give away at our various Chaplaincy events - especially pop-ups in the Drill Hall Library.
Sometimes all we need is a few encouraging and inspirational words to hold on to when the going gets tough. I hope there's something here for you personally :-)

What an inspiration!
NHS Charities Together, which will benefit from the funds, said it was 'truly inspired and humbled'.
Money raised by him and others for the charity is being spenty on well-being packs for NHS staff, rest and recuperation rooms, electronic devices to enable hospital patients to keep in contact with loved ones, and working with community groups to support patients once they have been discharged from hospitals.
Captain Tom's original goal was 100 laps; however, he has now said he will not stop and hopes to do another 100.
As at 2pm on 15th April 2020, numerous people from across the globe had donated through the Just Giving page, and the total now raised stands at:
Can you help??

Stress Awareness Month: Take Time to De-Stress
Whatever your work or family situation right now, it is supremely important that we take time for ourselves, to switch off, to de-stress, to look after our own emotional and mental well-being.
Can I encourage you, today, even if you have a house full of children, to find a space - the garden, the bedroom, the loo, a cupboard - where you can take ten minutes (minimum) just for you. Breathe deeply and let go of the world's worries; breathe again and let go of other people's demands and expectations; centre your soul, breathe deeply and let go. Enjoy the moment. Let it calm you, let it heal you.
As you breathe deeply, let go of worry, let go of anger or frustration, let go of unrealistic and unhelpful expectations - both other people's and those of your own making. Continue to breathe deeply and allow peace to enter your thoughts, your emotions and your very soul. Leave behind the negative - leave behind the 'if onlys', the 'should haves', the 'could haves' - focus on the moment and turn your face towards the positive.
Only out of a full cup are we truly equipped with the energy, motivation and compassion to reach out to others. Having fed your own soul, having filled your own positivity cup you can help feed the souls of others.
