Take Ten - Kindness

There are so very many reasons why we should be kind to ourselves, to others and to our world. Kindness values others, it promotes trust, boosts productivity and aids genuine compassion and caring. How can you practice kindness in these coming days and weeks?

Canterbury Trip

A great day out in Canterbury. I'm confident that everyone enjoyed themselves  ...  exploring the sights and the Christmas market.

Stephanie was rather shocked
by the size of her pizza!!!

Looks like fun :-)

Despite being surrounded by scaffolding for renovation work, you can still feel the grandeur of Canterbury Cathedral.  And the inside is equally magnificent.
WOW - these look good!!!!

Remembrance Day

My thanks to those 40+ people who joined us for our Remembrance Day service outside the Drill Hall Library. Thanks also to Rev Saju Muthalaly and to the readers (Stuart, Bill, Irene, Anna & Dominika) for their assistance.

Thanks too, to those who helped create our poppy collage yesterday at the World Cafe.

As a university campus with a military history, it is important for us to take this time to remember all those who have lost their lives as a result of war and conflict. Those who have served to protect their nations and those innocent victims of war. On this day we remember wars of the past, as well as the many nations around our world where people continue to suffer conflict and injustice.
