Once again ...

TABLEtalk: Olympic Gold

Last night we held our own TABLEtalk version of the Olympic Games.  There were five teams in total, competing in the egg & spoon race (well, actually, it was a ping pong ball), the memory game, bean bag toss, and the 'superlative' challenge.  Sadly we didn't have time for velcro darts, but I'll bring them another day.

Our runner up teams, who came equal
fourth place, were Winland and Funland.

BRONZE was awarded to Marshland (Abi & Vaichnavi)
SILVER to Dreamland (Aiste & Emeka)
GOLD to Puppyland (Jacob & Gulakshitha)

On a personal note ...

As is usual for the last May Bank holiday, I spent the weekend with friends at the Big Church Festival, in the beautiful grounds of Wiston House.  Great music, very favourable weather, time to chill, and the opportunity to catch up with friends and family that I don't see often enough.

Here are a few memories of my time with Paul & Chris, and Simon ...

We're all booked up for next year, which is moving to the August Bank holiday weekend and becoming a 3-DAY festival  

...  which definitely warrants a medal!!!
