Stress Awareness Month


Ever feel like this?? 
I know that some of you can most definitely relate!!  Well, April is Stress Awareness Month and whilst a degree of stress can be healthy for us when it becomes over-whelming or is over a prolonged period of time that's when it starts to negatively affect our emotional, physical, mental and psychological health and we need to take action.

Throughout April, I will be posting some advice adapted from the book '10 Keys to Happier Living' by Vanessa King.  On occasion such tips might seem obvious or even petty, but when we take time to stop and challenge ourselves, are we really acting on them.  We all know we need exercise and fresh air, but do we take it. We all know that working too many hours is detrimental but do we intentionally carve out time for ourselves.  For most of us it is within our power to make some small but very positive steps in the right direction.  I really hope that this month you will take time for yourself!!
