Chaplaincy News - May 2022

From May through June many of our students at the Medway campus are taking end of year exams. For some, as a result of the pandemic, this may be the first in-person exam they've taken since joining the university, which will add a level of challenge and potential stress. If you are one of those students, I want to reassure you that there are places you can go for support. The Drill Hall Library staff are extremely helpful in the search for suitable revision material. In addition, you will find me in the library doing regular Chaplaincy Chill & Chat sessions (see calendar below).

Do please look after your well-being during this busy and demanding season. Take time out to refresh and re-energise yourself - body, soul and spirit. Take a walk, a nap, or just dance around the kitchen. Ensure your get sufficient sleep, a balanced diet and that you drink plenty of water. Maybe take a listen to our monthly reflection on 'Take Ten with Lynne (see details below).

Take Ten with Lynne

Time management is a vital part of university life and a key life skill. In my experience, the challenge of time management often takes students by surprise. The ability to prioritise and plan ahead, is only something YOU can do for yourself.
