Cambridge trip

Took a coach full of students to Cambridge yesterday and we were so fortunate with the weather. Although it was quite chilly, the sky was blue and the sun was shining.

Sadly the cost of punting on the River Cam was prohibitive for some; but those of us who spent 50 minutes out on the river with our guide, Max, had a great time.

My two top recommendations for a visit to Cambridge, especially on such a beautiful day, are: (1) punting on the river and (2) a walk up the tower of Great St Mary's Church for an amazing view of the city.

Amongst other things, students enjoyed ... the Fitzwilliam Museum, King's College Chapel, the view from the top of Great St Mary's Church tower, the history and beautiful scenery, the good weather and finding Thai food and Chinese noodles in the market

Here are a few of people's comments ...

''Everything was
just breathtaking
and amazing.''
''The city is amazing, the
architecture is astonishing and
there's history everywhere.
This was a lovely trip!''
''What I enjoyed most was finding
a sword in a museum with my name
on it, and exploring Cambridge market.''

If anyone has more photos they'd like to share,
please email or whatsapp them to me :-)

An added bonus to my own day was a meet up with Anu and Vinila,
former Greenwich students, and their friend, Harika.
