My thanks to those 40+ people who joined us for our Remembrance Day service outside the Drill Hall Library. Thanks also to Rev Saju Muthalaly and to the readers (Stuart, Bill, Irene, Anna & Dominika) for their assistance. Thanks too, to those who helped create our poppy collage yesterday at the World Cafe.
As a university campus with a military history, it is important for us to take this time to remember all those who have lost their lives as a result of war and conflict. Those who have served to protect their nations and those innocent victims of war. On this day we remember wars of the past, as well as the many nations around our world where people continue to suffer conflict and injustice.
