CCCU Graduations

Graduations Days are always a great time of celebration. Christ Church Canterbury Graduations are amongst my favourite days of the academic year.

The University Choir add such a wonderful sense of celebration and ceremony to the day and, for me personally, it is a great privilege to pray for all of the graduates as they venture in to a new season in life.
Congrats, Jenny!!

 "Well Done, Humphrey"

"Congrats, Alice"

"Joy, what a great achievement."

Historic Oxford

Our day trip to Oxford this last weekend was SOLD OUT!!  Although the day started out quite cold, it turned in to a lovely sunny day :-)
Ahhhhhh ... the joy of that first
cup of coffee

Students enjoyed the architecture, the Botanic gardens, various museums, and spending time with friends.

Thought for the week ...

Take Time to Talk

February 6th is Time to Talk day.

With 1 in 4 of us experiencing a mental health problem in any given year, there has never been a better Time to Talk.
The more conversations we have about mental health, the more myths we can bust and barriers we can break down – helping to end the isolation, shame and worthlessness that too many of us feel when experiencing a mental health problem.
Take this opportunity to add to the wider conversation that will be occurring on social media, television and elsewhere.
Good support structures exist at all three of the universities at the Medway Campus  -  well-being teams, counsellors, personal tutors, academic support, listening ears, mental health champions, GKU advisors, chaplaincy.

DON'T STRUGGLE ALONE!
It's good to talk.
