On a personal note ...

Enjoyed a wonderful day out with some of 'the girls' on Saturday.  Our first port of call was the Stade Hotel in Hythe for a wonderful and very filling afternoon tea ...

This was the most marvellously,
scrumptious lemon tart ever!!! Shame it was only the size of a 50p piece :-(

We then went to the Hythe Imperial Hotel to be entertained by the contemporary opera group IDA.  Opera may not be your 'thing' but the evening included songs from several of the major westend theatre shows, a few Disney classics, as well as their own take on Adele's Skyfall.
IDA were accompanied by tenor Zac Hamilton

It was a thoroughly enjoyable evening made all the nicer by the scrumptious canapes, several glasses of bubbly and some truly glorious sunshine.
Oh, yes, we mustn't forget  ...  Nana came too!!

Only one thing left to do  ...  a walk along the promenade and a further opportunity to take a million selfies (that might be a very slight exaggeration)
