Rochester Trip & Quiz Trail

Ten of us from Medway, plus several from Greenwich, enjoyed a day in Rochester yesterday.  Between rain showers, several had an attempt at the quiz trail.  WELL DONE to the Sri Lankan boys, the only ones to fully complete the trail 😀🏆🏆

"It was a day of discovery, delight and fellowship. I explored the rich history and culture of Rochester, from its majestic Cathedral (founded AD604) and castle to its charming museums and early Christmas market. I learned new facts, solved puzzles, and enjoyed the company of fellow colleagues at UoG and travelling by train Thanks to Lynne and Kirsten for organising this wonderful trip. It was amemorable experience that I will cherish for a long time."  Julius

Amika said it was a "wonderful experience".

Sukant said the day was full of ... "Historic artifacts, castles, church, remembrance of Royal Engineers engraved in the cathedral and other engravings."

"A fun experience with the excitement of the quiz trail! A little drizzle was going on throughout the day but it  didn't really disturb us from getting to the end of the trail. Plus, ultimately we visited almost all the sites of historic Rochester. Thank you, Miss Lynne, for organising such a wonderful trip. Looking forward to the Canterbury trip as well."  Sunera
