Being British is all about driving a German car to an Irish pub for a pint of Belgian beer. On route home grabbing an Indian curry or a Turkish kebab, to spend the evening sitting on Swedish furniture to watch American TV shows on a Japanese television. Yet most of all, being British comes with a suspicion of all things foreign.
